Encouraging hard work and talent has been an essential value of Budapest Metropolitan University, because of this, they have initiated a brand-new Excellence Scholarship Program.
Eligibilities
All international METU candidates for each study program
Candidates showing specific academic excellence /Undergraduate level:
- English level min. C1
- Outstanding performance at the Skype interview during the application procedure
- In case a Math test is required, the candidate should reach min 80%
- In the case of Art and Design Programs, the lecturers must give a high score for the design portfolio (min. 30/35)
- High-school grades and GPA min. 80% e.g.:
- SAT 1280/1600
- IB 6/7
- Cambridge IGCSE min. 2 A or 4 AS levels
All other national/international High-school diplomas are acceptable; the GPA always has to be above 80%

- Outstanding performance at the Skype interview during the application procedure
- In the case of Art and Design Programs, the lecturers must give a high score for the design portfolio (min. 30/35)

The last verdict about the scholarship allocation would be made by the Admission Board
The maximum number of the winners of the scholarship would be 30 students
Benefits
The victors of the Excellence Scholarship are qualified to get a 500 EUR discount/semester (1000 EUR discount/year).
The victors of the Excellence Scholarship are also qualified to receive the concession during the rest of their studies on the basis of the following conditions:
- Brilliant study performance
- Applicants fulfill an internship of 60 hours/ semester at one of the organizational offices of METU, commencing from the second semester. The tasks may include representation on higher education fairs, sales and marketing tasks, organizing student events, etc.
