One part of producing the best products is bringing a diverse group of people together. Adobe is inviting applications to the Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship to bring more gender diversity to the technology industry,

 

The Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship distinguishes brilliant female undergraduate and master’s students studying data science, computer science, mobile/web development, or artificial intelligence at North American universities (including Mexico and Canada).

Eligibilities

Eligibilities

In order to be qualified for the 2021 Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship, candidates must meet all of the following conditions:

 

  • Identify as female.
  • Be a student currently registered as an undergraduate (2nd year or above) or master’s student at a North American university for the 2020-2021 academic year. First-year undergraduate students would not be qualified.  Candidates must have finished at least one year of university education.
  • Intend to be registered as a full-time undergraduate or master’s applicant at a university for the 2021-2022 academic year. Graduating students are not qualified.
  • Specialization in computer engineering, computer science, or a closely interrelated technical field.
  • Established leadership and involvement in public and school activities.
  • Maintain a strong academic record.
  • Not related to anyone working for Adobe.

  • A Creative Cloud subscription membership for a year.
  • A chance to interview for an Adobe internship.

  • Academic records from the present and previous institution.
  • Three recommendation letters.
  • Answers to four essay queries, which would be available upon application launch.
  • An optional 60-second multimedia submission or video describing the applicant’s dream profession.

 

A team of passionate volunteers from Adobe Digital Media and Research teams would evaluate candidates and choose the winners. Receivers are nominated on the basis of their personal essays, academic record, and three reference letters. Candidates may be asked for phone interviews following the preliminary evaluation.
