Established in 2019 and sustained by a yearly gift from Queensland Firebirds and UQ Marketing and Communications. The aim of this Scholarship is to support ad encourage new students who have demonstrated a passion for netball.

Eligibilities

Eligibilities

A candidate is qualified for the Scholarship if the candidate:

 

  • Submits an application by the closing date for applications
  • Completed year 12 in the year prior to award
  • Aims to enroll as a commencing student in an Accepted Program in the year of award
  • Can prove they have played netball for school or a club, or contributed to the sport of netball through volunteering or training within the previous 2-year period.

  • Accomplishments and obligation to the netball community
  • Leadership achievements and capabilities
