The Charles Hawker Scholarship preserves the reminiscence of soldier, politician, pastoralist and scholar Charles Allan Seymour Hawker. The Scholarship honors the accomplishments of one of Australia’s most appreciated statesmen.

 

C.A.S. Scholarships are available to all Australian students. The majority have been presented to students entering their first year of university study. Since 1990, the representatives have granted 129 C.A.S. Hawker Scholarship, many to regional students. Selection mainly revolves around personal potentials alongside demonstrated management as well as academic capability. Undergraduate and post-graduate Hawker Scholars are able to attend a variety of Australian academic institutions. Post-graduate Charles Hawker Scholars are also able to follow in Charles Hawker’s paths by registering at Trinity College and studying at Cambridge UK.

 

In 2020, three students were chosen as 2020 C.A.S. Hawker scholars, and two of the students among them are now studying at ANU.
