Description
International Research Tuition Scholarships (IRTS) are granted to international students on the basis of demonstrated research capability, academic merit, and who will be supported during their degree by a full living stipend supported by external funding.
Eligibilities
In addition to meeting UniSA’s eligibility conditions, candidates must be:
- Commencing international research degree students
- High quality with demonstrated research capability, as evaluated by UniSA
- Be supported by a strong administrative panel (with end-user consultant on the administrative panel, where suitable), and be registered in a research-rich environment
- In acceptance of (or been awarded) a fully externally funded stipend scholarship, or in acceptance of a living stipend supported by external funding.
Benefits
- The IRTS will cover the international tuition fee for 3 years (plus a likelihood of a 6-month postponement) for a PhD student and the international tuition fee for 2 years for a research master’s student.
- The scholarship does not cover overseas health cover and candidates are responsible for confirming that they have visa length overseas health cover for themselves and, if appropriate, their family
