The program accepts students in two semesters only, April or October enrollment. Students can take admission with a Japanese government scholarship (MEXT scholarship) or other allowance or their private funding. Usually, there are five main methods of being admitted to the program. They are:

 

 

Eligibilities

Eligibilities
  • The candidates must have the citizenship of a country that has diplomatic ties with Japan.
  • The candidate must be 34 years of age or younger as of April 1, 2021.
  • The candidate must be able to arrive in Japan before the beginning of the 2021 Fall semester.
  • Minimum 2.3 / 3.0 GPA required on MEXT’s scale over the most recent two years of your degree-seeking studies.
  • For both; Masters and the Doctor course, the candidate must be in good physical and mental health.

  • 143,000 – 145,000 yen stipend for living expenses per month.

  • He/She must have brilliant academic records in undergraduate along with a Master degree and shows robust research potential
  • A candidate should normally possess a four-year bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree.
  • Proof of an applicant’s English proficiency (An official score of TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)

 

Masters Course

 

Any candidate willing to take admission in the Master course must have the following academic requirements:

 

  • A candidate should have brilliant academic records in undergraduate
  • A candidate should normally have a four-year bachelor’s degree.
  • Proof of an applicant’s English proficiency (An official score of TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)

Any individual interested can communicate with the Japanese Embassy in his/her home country. The initial examination would be conducted at the local Japanese Embassy. For that, applicants must contact the local embassy in their home country. The entry term maybe April or October depending on the decision made by the Japanese government.
