Description

Eligibilities
Education:
Completion of secondary education. Additional studies in a relevant area such as appropriate technical or commercial school certification (e.g. management accounting, financial accounting, public accounting) is required. Completion of a university degree in a relevant discipline would be an asset.
Knowledge and skills:
- Technical skills; An understanding of WTO financial and administrative regulations, rules and procedures. Advanced accounting/financial management skills. Familiarity with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) an advantage.
- ERP software skills; experience with Oracle EBS an advantage.
- Basic business intelligence application skills.
- Computing and office applications, especially advanced spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Analytical skills to produce accurate and clear financial reporting.
Behavioral skills:
- The following interpersonal capabilities are required: relate to and build relationships with colleagues; communicate technical information to an audience of informed people and understand ideas when communicated by others; persuade others to a point of view using facts; and work as a member of a team, relating to others, while working independently to achieve his/her objectives.
- Confidentiality skills to ensure that information is accessible only to those authorized to have access.

At least eight years’ experience in a relevant function
Languages:
Proficiency in French or English and at least working level of the other language.
