Education:

 

Completion of secondary education. Additional studies in a relevant area such as appropriate technical or commercial school certification (e.g. management accounting, financial accounting, public accounting) is required. Completion of a university degree in a relevant discipline would be an asset.

 

Knowledge and skills:

 

  • Technical  skills;  An understanding of WTO financial and administrative regulations, rules and procedures. Advanced accounting/financial management skills. Familiarity with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) an advantage.
  • ERP software skills; experience with Oracle EBS an advantage.
  • Basic business intelligence application skills.
  • Computing and office applications, especially advanced spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Analytical skills to produce accurate and clear financial reporting.

 

Behavioral skills:

 

  • The following interpersonal capabilities are required: relate to and build relationships with colleagues; communicate technical information to an audience of informed people and understand ideas when communicated by others; persuade others to a point of view using facts; and work as a member of a team, relating to others, while working independently to achieve his/her objectives.
